Support Spokane Center for Independent Living’s A.D.A Celebration
Spokane Center for Independent Living (SCIL) is a consumer-driven,
501(c)3 non-profit Independent Living Center providing services to meet the needs of the Inland Northwest disability community.
SCIL provides a comprehensive range of services designed to educate, assist, empower and provide resources to the cross- disability community.
The goal is to empower them to make their own decisions to live independently.
Services include: Advocacy, Independent living skills training, Information and referral, Peer support, Youth and adult transition, Assistive technology & Housing search assistance.
SCIL is working to present our second annual Americans with Disabilities (ADA) celebration. This year the ADA celebrates 29 years of guarantees that people with disabilities have the same opportunities as everyone else to participate in the mainstream of American life. Our celebration is planned for Saturday, July 27, 2019, as we kickoff our first “Move-athon” along the Centennial Trail and culminating with a picnic celebration across the road in Mirabeau Meadows. Proceeds from the event will be used to assist young adults with disabilities transition into adulthood as well as enabling the elderly to remain independent in their homes and in the community.
As part of our celebration, we are asking for your help to insure our events success by becoming a sponsor in one of the following ways:
$5000 – EVENT NAMED SPONSOR – Your organizations name would be the presenting organization of the event, and would be included in all event publicity.
$2500 – CELEBRATION NAMED SPONSOR – Your organizations name would be prominently displayed on in Mirabeau Meadows during our picnic celebration.
$1000 – CHECKPOINT SPONSOR – Your organizations name would be displayed at one of the checkpoints along the “Move-athon” path on the Centennial Trail.
$250 – FRIEND OF SCIL – Your organizations name would be prominently displayed along the “Move-athon” path on the Centennial Trail.
We are also looking for items that may be used for our basket raffle, any donations would be greatly appreciated.
