Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS. The HOPWA HUD program was established to specifically address the housing needs of persons living with HIV/AIDS and their families. The purpose of the HOPWA Grant is to promote decent affordable housing, to maintaining stable housing, to reduce the risk of homelessness, and to provide supportive services to those who qualify with HIV/AIDS diagnosis and low income verification.
Here at SCIL’s HOPWA Program we can help with: Utilities, Transportation, Emergency Shelter, Long-Term Housing, Rent, Mortgage, Deposits, Community Referrals, Life Skills Management, Outside Support Visits, Advocacy and more!
SCIL provides HOPWA services to eligible individuals who reside in: Adams, Ferry, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens and Whitman Counties.
